The number of working models, actors, singers and dancers who got their start at IMTA is countless and ever-growing. There are so many stars who got their start at IMTA that there are even movie and fashion projects that feature multiple people that got their start at IMTA! For example, the feature film “The Romantics” starred Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel and Elijah Wood, all of whom have IMTA as part of their journey to success. The film “New Year’s Eve” starred IMTA Alums Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel, and Elijah Wood! Filming now, the feature film “The Blunderer” is starring two IMTA alumni, Jessica Biel and Haley Bennett! It happens in fashion too. Many models who got their start at IMTA will walk in the same fashion week, for the same designer or shoot editorial or commercial print together. The number of actors, models, singers and dancers who are working today that got their start at IMTA is proof of our commitment to giving our participants a wonderful experience AND opportunities to be seen by major market agents and scouts who can get careers started.

All these industry professionals from around the world come to one place to see you. You could never see them all on your own even if you had the funds and the time to see them all. Agents from Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Tokyo, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Johannesburg, Seinajoki, Munich, London, Beijing, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, and literally hundreds of agents from around the world all come together at IMTA to find new faces. It is your best chance to be seen and find out where you fit in the industry. We also have representatives from networks, music labels, production companies, dance companies, prestigious acting schools and casting directors, all there to see you and help you find out where you fit into the industry.
We can’t promise that every participant will be signed to major market representation and we are very up front and transparent that we can’t control the market needs. Many factors contribute including the agent’s and the market’s needs so we are very clear that we can’t promise that one will find stardom. Sometimes our Contestants find out they really don’t want to leave their hometown yet, or they need more training and local work before they are ready for a bigger market. Sometimes they find out they really love the technical side of the industry and want to be a director, photographer, stylist or even a booker or agent. We have had models who need to grow a little more, get their braces off or actors who want to finish high school before heading off to Los Angeles. At IMTA, you WILL have the Experience of a Lifetime and find out where your potential can lead you. It is exciting learning about the industry with your peers who have the same passion for it that you do.
